A Dublin mom says she’s standing up for her legal right in Ohio to breastfeed in public when her son is hungry. Aidan Johnson wants her story told so other nursing mother’s don’t have the same experience.
Fellow conservatives: if you truly care about family values, you should support public breastfeeding. Bottle-feeding and babysitters are the insidious precursors to outsourced parenthood and the fundamental undermining of the family.
Most of the moms I know have figured out subtle ways to keep the activity from becoming a distraction, and a growing number of establishments are finding ways to accommodate everyone. That’s what we should support, not the public shaming of women whose only desire is to be the best mother possible.
